My Thoughts: The recipes are inspired by the characters from the series. I haven't read the series, so that was not what made me request the book. I love all things spooky and the cover is just that. It's why I requested the cookbook from Netgalley.

There's a cute story at the beginning of the cookbook about the missing brownies. It was a different pleasant addition to the cookbook.

Their are a lot of food pictures,  which is always a plus in my book. I don't think you should have a cookbook without photos to show what was being cooked.

In addition to the food pictures, there are also illustrations. I thought this was a wonderful addition given the theme of the cookbook.

The recipes all include information about them. For example, there's a recipe for fairy toast. I had never heard of this until I moved to Australia. The description describes fairy toast and how it is an Australian delicacy, mostly with children.

I can't wait to try out some of the recipes.

Rating: 5 out of 5

Many thanks to Shadow Mountain Publishing and Netgalley for this review copy. This is my honest opinion.
